Hello and welcome to the oficial website of the SOS brigade! Or if you dont like roleplay, my second page about Haruhi Suzumiya. On this smaller more simplistic page i will put general information about the series, and is meant to accomidate My main Haruhi Page
As you may see, this entire page is made to resemble the website Kyon creates for the SOS brigade in the show, with the upper portion being almost a exact, if translated, copy of the Official Haruhi Website. While the upper part is just for novelty, below this you will find the actual content.
... the volumes of the light novel all had unique titles, with a consistant naming sheme, all a part of the Haruhi Suzumiya series...when it was adapted for an anime, they simply named it The meloncholy Of Haruhi Suzumiya, after the first volume of the light novels
All volumes of the light novel have been officially translated into english by YenPress, wether the official translation beats fan works is up to debate

Many people dont't know this, but the Haruhi Suzumiya ligth novels got two different adaptaions into manga, while most people are familiar with the second manga, illustrated by Gaku Tsugano and written by Nagaru Tanigawa, there was another manga series based on the light novels wich ran briefly that one. Simply Haruhi Suzumiya No Yüutsu, after the first volume of the light novel, it ran from May to December 2004, and only ever released one volume, consisting of 5 chapters, before getting subsided by the main manga adatation.
I find this adaptation extremely interesting, with how different it looks, both compared to the second series that came after it, and the illustrations from the light novels, and with how much it supposidly strays from its source material... i- i havent read it yet, but if i ever do, execpt a lot more content here, about my opinions on it, and how it differs from the light novels and second manga series o.o;;
As you can imagine, it never got a official translation into english, i am not even sure if it hs gotten fan translation, but if i find one i will link it here. Finding raw scans of it however should not be a challange

From April 3rd 2009 to October 9th 2009, Suzumiya Haruhi No Yũutsu was re-aried on japanese television. This re-airing featured 14 new episodes, along with the 14 previously braodcasted ones, adding up to a total of 28 episodes, all broadcasted in the chronological order, meaning the new epsiodes were mixed in with the older ones

| Suzumiya Haruhi no Chokuretsu (涼宮ハルヒの直列) Is a Haruhi Suzumiya Advneture game puplished by SEGA for the nintendo DS, wich released on May 28, 2009 The game has only been officially released in Japan, but quite recently got a English translation patch. I have uploaded a pre-pacthed rom of the game on my site, wich you can download (link)Here(link), you can also visit the translations team's official website I have not yet played Suzumiya Haruhi no Chokuretsu, but I have it loaded on my flash cart, and plan to start playing sometime in the future, once Ive finished it I'll be sure to write my toughts on it ^-^ |  |
